CONFUSED ABOUT THE FEED-IN TARIFF FOR SOLAR PV? HERE'S THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT.

- GUARANTEED 21p feed-in tariff for 25 years if you install solar PV before April 1st.
- ALSO GUARANTEED 21p feed-in tariff for 25 if you install solar PV after April 1st and before July 1 BUT the property will need an ENERGY EFFICIENCY RATING OF 'D' OR ABOVE to qualify.
- FROM JULY 1st the feed-in tariff may be reduced further, but this depends on the amount of installations completed throughout the UK between March 3 and March 31. If over 65,000 are installed, this date could be brought forward.
